Twenty-five years of bringing photographers together
1987-2012
The Redwood Camera Club prides itself on being a small comfortable club with great diversity in its membership; from professional photographers to blue ribbon amateurs and beginners. They work with a wide range of techniques including black and white, color and digital. All forms of photography are welcomed as well as all levels of competence from beginner to professional.
The Club usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. They emphasize education for its members through videos, slides, and guest speakers. Field trips and special themes are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Each meeting allows time to share photos around the table or in a more formal mode with gentle critique. The four main goals of the Redwood Camera Club are to;
Provide members with photography related education
Provide a forum for showing photographs
Perform a community service
Maintain a membership in the Columbia Council of
Camera Clubs and Photographic Society of America
Membership dues are $30/per calendar year for 2012.
